My professional Life

I’m a certified Master Hypnotherapist, Reiki Master Instructor, intuitive healer, and beauty ritualist. My work is rooted in a blend of subconscious transformation, ancestral wisdom, and creative expression—all shaped by a life of resilience, spiritual emergence, and deep listening.

For over 20 years, I thrived behind the chair as a hairstylist, educator, and salon owner—teaching at institutions like AVEDA and Paul Mitchell, and eventually opening my own trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ centered salon. I quickly realized I wasn’t just doing hair—I was holding sacred space. Clients came for a cut but stayed for the healing, the conversations, the release. (Let’s be real: hairstylists are often the unofficial therapists.)

But over time, just listening didn’t feel like enough. I wanted to help in a deeper, more lasting way. That desire led me into the world of clinical hypnotherapy, where I completed over 700 hours of formal training, supervision, and certification in subconscious behavior, trauma resolution, and emotional healing. I didn’t want surface-level wellness—I wanted transformation. Now, I offer layered, soul-deep work that blends years of beauty, intuition, and care with the science and structure of subconscious reprogramming.

I combine Indigenous practices, clinical hypnosis, intuitive reading, energy work, and even art or ritualistic hair sessions to support transformation on every level—body, mind, spirit, and identity. My work is trauma-aware and justice-centered, honoring each person’s full humanity while addressing the intersections of race, gender, and healing.

Hypnosis, unlike talk therapy alone, allows us to bypass conscious resistance and work directly with the subconscious, where limiting beliefs and deep-rooted patterns live. That’s where the real shifts happen—gently, quickly, and meaningfully.

Whether you meet with me virtually or in my cozy Long Beach studio, you’ll be welcomed into a space where you can feel safe, seen, and guided. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and create powerful, aligned change from the inside out.

If you’re ready to explore what’s underneath—and begin rewriting your story—I’d be honored to walk with you.

My Personal Story

I was born in 1983 in Ceiba, Puerto Rico, to young parents and an older sister. Not long after, my parents split, and my mom raised us on her own—first in Washington Heights, NYC, and eventually in Virginia Beach, where we found refuge with my great-aunt. We were far from our roots, but my mother made sure our Puerto Rican culture, our elders, our food, and our spirituality stayed close.

From early on, I was a storyteller. Not just in the creative sense—though there was plenty of that—but in the “I think I remember something that didn’t happen in this life” kind of way. One of my family’s favorite stories is the time I asked my mom if she remembered my boyfriend with the red Camaro... I was seven. Clearly never had a boyfriend, or a car. But I knew things. I felt things. And I couldn’t explain it.

As I got older, things got... complicated. I was a queer, neurodivergent kid in a conservative southern town—bullied at school, misunderstood at home, and struggling with undiagnosed dyslexia and ADHD. But even through all that, I was tuned in. Spirits would visit me, especially my grandfather, who became a guide and protector. I didn’t always have the language for what I was experiencing, but I knew I was wired a little differently.

Over time, my intuition sharpened. I could feel people’s pain—sometimes too much. Without boundaries or support, that sensitivity turned into anxiety, depression, and a lot of questioning my place in the world. I often felt like the strange one, the odd one out—even in my own family. But as I grew, I began to understand that what made me “too much” was actually a gift. I just needed the right tools and support.

Now, I help others like me—neurodivergent, sensitive, magical beings—remember what they already know. I use hypnotherapy, energy work, and intuitive healing to help people reconnect with their power, rewire what no longer serves them, and reclaim their story. Because you’re not broken. You’re becoming.
